Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is one and a half spaces; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The article that we will submit has gone through a similarity check using Turnitin and iThenticate/similar, with results of less than 25%

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of the Journal of General Education and Humanities (GEHU) must be:

  1. Written in English.
  2. The submitted paper is at least ten pages for the research paper.
  3. The article must include an abstract in English (100-200 words) followed by keywords (3-5 words).
  4. Use a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting. The citation must be in the form of in-text, and the bibliography must be based on IEEE.
  5. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the GEHU paper template.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present following the structure:

  1. Title. The paper's title should describe the research aims, method/model, and objective without Acronyms or abbreviations.
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has 100 to 200 WORDSNo citation; the abstract states a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes, results, and conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion - Acknowledgment - Reference - Appendix (optional) 
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 30 references, primarily with a minimum of 85% from reputable journal papers with their DOI or URLs.
  5. An English Language Editor (Proofreader) should check and edit the manuscript.

Fast-Track Review Fee: USD 69
Fast-track review is an OPTIONAL. A fast-track fee is an advance payment before the review process begins. Fast-track review is an editorial service for authors who need to publish quickly. The editor guarantees that the article business process will continue to be carried out according to OJS procedures. Fast-track review DOES NOT GUARANTEE that the article will be accepted.
